Customer Reviews
Pattern and video were easy to follow
love the instructions!
Very cute! The hat seemed to run a bit small, but that could also be related to my tension while crocheting.
I started this following the video but was not able to grasp the star stitch. I would have like to see a better representation of which hole the hook was going in. Often obscured by fingernails.
Item is a PDF pattern. I received quickly. Started but have not completed. Easy to follow pattern. Personally not happy how pattern is going but believe it is most likely something I am doing incorrectly. I do see from online comments I am not the only person with questions for that reason my less than perfect rating.
I like MJs patterns, they are lovely
The pattern is clear and easy to read.
Awesome pattern! I loved that there was a video tutorial I could follow long with too! (I’m an intermediate beginner)
super easy to follow with useful video if not sure
I had some problems with the pattern, but I’ve watched the video a few times & I figured out what I was doing wrong. Also, the pattern calls for #3 weight yarn, but hers looks more like a #4 weight. I went up a size to be able to fit the size I wanted.
Worked up nicely. Easy to follow instructions.
Love her projects and instructions are great!
I havent made it yet but I am looking forward to trying it !
Thank you! Look forward to making these
Initially, I had a great deal of trouble with this pattern. Fortunately, I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong after watching the tutorial several times. Still, I ended up pulling out rows of stitches several times. You can't ask for help on Etsy - only in the Facebook group, and I am not on Facebook. I do love the look of this stitch. My final baby hat came out pretty good - the ears are a little bit off kilter, but I'm just happy I ended up with a decent-looking hat!
This pattern was fantastic! The combination of the written pattern and the video made the instructions very clear. Thank you for a great crochet pattern!
Cute little hat! Easy to follow pattern and the video was super helpful in learning the star stitch. This was my first time using this stitch and after watching the video, the hat worked up quickly! I've maxed three already.😊
Cutest little hat. I have a feeling I’ll be making a few of these.
Great pattern so simple to follow and well written x
Great pattern! Easy to follow and finished product came out great!
I have not tried this yet but received the download load quickly without any issues
Quick, and very nice. Glad to have discovered MJ.
I’m working the size 3-6 month and I had to read this pattern at least 10 times and redoing my round 6 several times before realizing the pattern either isn’t correct or there is typos for this size (can’t speak for the other sizes). It says for 3-6 I should have 22 stars and 50sts but that’s impossible if I’m doing 3/2 alternating till the last eye (it comes to 55sts which then means the 6-12 is wrong too cause 56 would also not be possible following that pattern). So I just did one hdc in the last 5 stars to give me 50sts. I haven’t finished the hat yet, so we’ll see how it turns out but definitely some math is wrong and being a newbie to all this, I don’t know how to figure that out myself. So hopefully it turns out okay, but someone definitely needs to check out that part of the pattern especially since we have to buy it.
The pattern is cute! The instructions are understandable and the video tutorial is wonderful. Looking forward to finishing my first hat.
Such a cute little pattern. Can’t wait to try it
