Great pattern, my bag turned out really well. I used Hobbii Rainbow 8/8 100% cotton with a 4mm crochet hook in Army Green. I added a lining with pockets (pockets not on the pattern) using some left over green linen and tiger print cotton. I sewed in my lining and zip using my sewing machine. The finished size is perfect for me, approximately 34 cm from opening to the bottom of the bag and 46 cm across. Very happy.

The bag turned out exactly as I crocheted it, tight. I am a very tight crocheter, so the bag is quite stiff. However, it turned out beautifully. Make sure to watch your gauge!!!!

My sister crocheted this bag, and I cannot swing it over my shoulder. The handle needs to be much much longer. The pictures are very very deceptive. It’s more of a true handbag than a shoulder bag which defeats the purpose of a hobo bag.
