The pattern was very straightforward and easy to follow. I was really relieved that it was forgiving if you added an extra stitch or in my case (dropped my start of row stitch marker …a few times) I love my dumpling bag so so so much. I highly recommend anyone to make this. It’s great for beginners! And it only took me about a week and half to complete. I loved it so much I want to make a million so it inspired me to open my shop. I cannot wait to purchase more patterns from bygalk💙

Such an easy pattern to follow. I used a smaller hook size for a tight handbag and now am using a 6mm hook for a larger more tote size version. I love how simple it is!

First I want to say the bags she makes are cute. I fell in love with all of them so I wanted to work my way through all of her patterns for them. However, I do feel like the pattern for this bag is way too pricey especially since there aren’t any unique techniques to it. I feel like it’s basic and once you make your way to the straps it becomes a little time consuming and a bit of a waste of yarn to keep ending each row and starting back the way it shows. I decided to do my own way with the straps so it worked out for me. But again, I love her work she does, but $14 for this pattern is crazy.
This review is tough to leave, The reason for my poor review is the value for money. This is not written as a pattern. Everything in it is step one step 2, at the moment I am on row 11 and step 44.... I just want to open a pattern and read a pattern. And for $20 CAD the most I have ever paid for a pattern I would expect that I am buying something that has been tested or edited. Will I Have a cool bag at the end, likely but. this person is charging more than most designers and it is not an actual pattern. They have put a lot of instruction I will say that'd yes a lot of photos.

I highly recommend buying from this seller! Her patterns are so well written and detailed, it was such a wonderfully pleasant surprise to have such in depth pictures and videos! I just have the straps left to do on the bag and can’t wait to finish it. I ended up using single-stranded worsted weight acrylic yarn since that’s the scraps I have and a 5mm hook and so far it’s come out great! Sizing looks similar to the images and it holds it shape well. Will definitely be making multiple bags and buying other patterns!
Let me start by saying that this creator’s patterns never disappoint. They are a bit pricey but they are well worth the money. Her patterns are SO descriptive; she never misses a single step. Every single step has a photo with arrows and numbers. Not once did I freak out during this project for missing anything because this pattern is so well written that it’s hard to mess up! Now, I did make a few alterations. Instead of doing the body and straps in spirals, I decided to turn my work every row without a turning chain. My reasoning is that I didn’t want to weave in a lot of ends for the strap and turning my work helped with that! :) Thank you for this wonderful pattern and bag!
