I really enjoyed this pattern. I used lion Brand 24/7 cotton in the color Riviera and it turned out beautiful. I did have to block it due to some curling on the brim, but it could have been my tension being so tight. I made it as a gift for my niece and she's excited to wear it.
great pattern as always from mj. easy to follow and worked up quickly. only issue I had, was after a few days, the rim of the hat was very floppy, so I frogged it and redid it with a 4mm hook and now it's perfect.

A bit floppy, but adding a wire in the third row from the end helped. A very pretty hat, with good directions.

I have a lot of MJs patterns all are gorgeous, promptly delivered, with illustrations as well as the written pattern. I have easily managed to substitute yarn as I live in the UK and still get the same great results. Definitely one of my go to Etsy sellers.
Great pattern! Easy to follow. I did have to increase the rows on the crown as it was a little small. Make sure to test your gauge. I used Knit Picks Dishie yarn
