- For a more lightweight version: cotton ribbon yarn! I used 2 strands of hobbii ribbon yarn. You may use 2 strands from the same skein, or you can get 2 skeins if you feel more comfortable working with one strand from each skein!
- Tip if you would like your bag to look identical to the photos, do not chain/crochet too tight! If you tend to crochet very tightly then I recommend sizing up to a 12mm hook to achieve the same look as mine! 💕

I bought this pattern after I saw the maker used it to create a purse out of satin ribbons. I wouldn't say it for beginners and the pattern didn't have information on any adjustments needed for the purse to be made out of satin. Had to improvise a lot. On the plus side, the maker was very responsive with my questions.

Easy pattern to follow and turned out super cute. I found the instagram post made with the silk ribbon and will say that with the 3”ribbon, there doesn’t need to be as many stitches in a row since the material made the stitches larger. The purse still came out adorable and I loved how it ended up looking!
