I started crocheting this purse with the suggested yarn which is pretty stiff but will work great for the completed item. I am making it a little narrower than the pattern size as I use this type of purse for vacations - large enough to hold my cell iPhone 14 Max, eyeglasses with case, Kleenex & lipstick. Not finished yet but an easy pattern to follow. Easy to download.

I loved making this handbag. My first time ever making one. Directions were so simple to follow. I did alter mine a little bit. As I didn’t want too deep of a handbag. I also used 4mm macrame cord. I get so many compliments on my bag and people can’t believe I made it!
This was an excellent pattern well written and easy to follow. I made the bag from bamboo tape yarn which produced a firm fabric perfect for the item. Looking forward to making the next one. Definitely recommend.
