Pattern is easy to follow, definitely count your stitches each row or ur pattern will be off. Sizing i found to be a little bigger using the hooks required but there are details on how to make smaller or bigger.

Amazing pattern as always! I had to change my hook sizes because my tension is too tight, but the pattern was well written and thorough.
The YouTube video is excellent! I wouldn’t recommend trying this pattern as a beginner but certainly advanced beginner + is good - won’t be fast but worth the time for sure. I am a goof and accidentally made the toddler hat instead of the adult hat but it turned out so cute I’ll just give it as a Christmas gift and it was good practice before I try the adult size. It’s a beautiful hat.

Directions are unclear. I can’t seem to get past row 3 without this pattern not making sense (experienced reading patterns and making mittens). It goes: rounds 1,2,3,2,3… and a note AFTER row 3 saying pattern begins at round 2. The chart doesn’t indicate the different sections of the mitten where changes are needed so you have to read the written and chart instructions at the same time. Automated message from designer about my question in Etsy refers me to a Facebook group where I’m supposed to post my question. I don’t appreciate being forced to join a FB group (not everyone is on FB). Additionally, in looking at other questions posted in the group, very few have responses. That’s not helpful.

Very easy to follow pattern that worked up well. I wish the patten had actual yardage required instead of just balls required, so it was easier to substitute yarn and buy for more than one project or set. I also don't think it is worth full price, currently $20.50CAD, but if you get it on sale it's a good buy.
