Pattern was not simple by any means limited explanation
The pattern is difficult to understand, but I love the texture that it makes.
The instructions don't make sense at all. I am used to reading patterns but I've attempted this 4 times and I've now given up
If you are truly a beginner crocheter, make sure you do a lot of practice lemon peel stitch before attempting this so you can edit the pattern mentally as you go. A lot of this tells you to just repeat the same row (starting with single crochet, for example) despite the stitch being a 2 row repeat. Another issue for example can be found under the section called "back panel" where it says "attach yarn with a sc in next sc." In the lemon peel stitch, if you are attaching with a single crochet then you should be attaching to a double crochet beneath. If you were to follow this pattern precisely you would end up with a lumpy mess.
