Easy enough to follow but I have years of experience. I had to guess how to do some parts but for the most part this was a great pattern!

This is a wonderful pattern! It’s actually pretty simple, it just takes a little while to work up. It was easy to read and fun to make. I used bernat blanket yarn and it gave it the perfect texture. I would definitely recommend this pattern!

Easy pattern to follow. I recommend making the small one first to get the idea of how it goes. I absolutely love how the big one came out. so chuffed with him 😊

I am a very experienced crocheter. I love this pattern, and I love my Anchor Octopus. Overall, the patter was easy to follow, but I found the pattern lacked detail and took me a lot of extra time working out the details. I struggled sewing on the head bulge, and judging from the other reviews' pictures, I'm not the only one, as there is a lack of consistency with how people placed the big bump. As I was figuring out a few things throughout the pattern, I was really wishing for more photos. Lastly, I am a very tight crocheter, but I think it took more yarn than the pattern specified, I used Premier Parfait Chunky, 6mm hook, probably should have used a 5mm, but like I said, I make very tight stitches. All that said, I still like the pattern and recommend it, probably not for beginners, though.

Loved working this pattern! So much fun to see how it would turn out. Took me a while, but worth it in the end.

I LOVE MY OCTOPUS!! The pattern is really great! Lots of details and very clear. You can make your creations with pretty much any color you want and change them whenever you want. It is an easy pattern if you know your way around crochet. If you are a beginner, it can be hard around the eyes or the sewing/cochrting the different parts together. But you get the hang of it pretty quickly! Personally, I did my project with a really big chenille yarn: Alize Velluto soft & bright, size 9 (crochet 8-10mm), colors cherry red and white. I did it with a 10mm crochet hook so it would look huge (and it is). I also used 25mm safety eyes. Have fun doing yours beautiful octopus!!!
