****Below is my original 1 star review. I have to applaud the seller who reached out immediately and updated all of the noted sections in the pattern. The updated pattern is much easier to understand and I will probably go ahead and give it a try. Again, thank you for the quick response and update. *This is the strangest knitting pattern I have ever seen. Certainly not beginner as recommended. No clear instructions for required short rows, abbreviations, etc.I don't think I dare start this project.
The pattern is exactly what I wanted but very disappointed to find this is done on circular needles which I have never learned how to do. This is the fourth pattern (from various retailers) that I have bought on line and it should say in description that this is on circular needles. I am gong to try to adapt it to straight needles.

This pattern is so difficult to understand, even the seller contradicts herself in the messages. I should have looked at the reviews and not bought the pattern. DO NOT BUY. Most pics are ai.
This is a challenging pattern. I have knitted a lot of top-down items before but never one like this. Usually they are very easy, this one, not so much. But the instructions are very good, although there are a lot of unfamiliar abbreviations (perhaps used more in the US than here in Australia) and it would have been helpful to have those abbreviations detailed at the beginning of the project. Anyway, I love a challenge and I'm sure my grandson will love his cardigan.
A nice easy but nice pattern. Well laid out over about 18 pages with the last page having a number of pictures showing different stages of the knitting progress. The pattern is quickly received once payment has been received by the seller.

This pattern is ideal because it gives you a truly finished look, while being simplistic in the actual stitches. In order to complete the truly professional finished look, I highly recommend that you do the blocking as your final step. This is how you will get that professional look in the photo of this pattern. It is a darling and classy! And it can be for boys or girls, depending on the style of Yarn and especially the colors.
